Hi, my name is Khayla-Marie Outlaw. I’m 29 years old from Houston, Texas. I’m a daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend — someone who is deeply loved and supported.
Just weeks ago, I was living my normal life, making plans and thinking about my future. Now, I am facing something I never imagined — I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
Even saying that out loud still doesn’t feel real. My days have quickly shifted from everyday life to doctor’s appointments, scans, and treatment planning. It’s been overwhelming, but I am doing everything I can to stay strong and keep fighting.
My treatment plan includes ongoing medication and radiation therapy to manage the cancer. I also have several important tests ahead, including MRIs and additional evaluations that will guide the next steps in my care.
While I am focused on my health, the financial burden of this journey has become overwhelming. Between medical expenses, treatments, medications, and everyday living costs, it has quickly become more than I can manage on my own.
I am creating this GoFundMe to help cover:
• Medical expenses (appointments, imaging, treatments, medications)
• Ongoing and upcoming care
• Daily living expenses while I focus on healing
• Transportation to and from treatments
In addition, I hope to take a healing and restorative trip to Sedona, Arizona — a place known for its peaceful environment and wellness spaces. This would give me the opportunity to rest, reset, and pour back into myself mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as I continue this fight.
