My Name is Sandra McCallie. My Daughter Aleah is friends with David and they both go to Beebe School. David is a sweet 12-year-old boy who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. David was in remission for several years but relapsed this year. Since this diagnosis, life for David and his family has been tough. His dad is working countless hours to keep up with the needs of his family while mom stays in and out of the hospital full time to care for David. David is currently in the hospital and has no appetite. He has been placed on a feeding tube with hopes to get him some nutrition to get him feeling better. Despite their strength this family could use a little help. I have asked the family if I could start this account hoping to take a little stress off the family and give his dad a little more time to see him.
