Hello, my name is Kasey. I am starting this fundraiser for my dog, Oakley, after he ruptured his cruciate ligament and now needs surgery and physical therapy. As many of you know, my dogs are my whole world. If you know me, then you know how much I love them and truly live for them. Oakley is so much more than just a pet to me; he is my soul dog. He has been by my side for 8 years through everything and is truly one of the biggest parts of my life.

Right now, I am a full-time nursing student and work part-time as a surgical technologist, so coming up with the cost of his surgery, recovery, and physical therapy expenses is overwhelming. Like many students, I am doing everything I can to balance school, work, and life, but this unexpected injury has put me in a really difficult position financially.

Oakley deserves to be able to run, play, go to work with my dad, and just live without pain. It is truly heartbreaking to see him hurting and not be able to fix it on my own as quickly as he needs. I am asking for help so I can get him the care he needs and give him the best chance at a full recovery.
