HELP ME FIGHT CANCER\ስለእናት ስለህፃን ብላቹ፣ሕይወቴ አትርፉልኝ

My name is Mekedes Getahun, and I am 28 years old. I am a labor and delivery nurse. I am a wife and a mother to a one-year-old daughter. I have been battling cancer for over a year. I was diagnosed with leukemia at Black Lion Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Unfortunately, after receiving six rounds of chemotherapy, the cancer didn't respond to the treatment. Hence, the medical board decided a bone marrow transplant was my only survival option. Unfortunately, this treatment is unavailable in Ethiopia, so I traveled to Turkey to seek a bone marrow transplant at Liv Hospital. My cancer treatment thus far has taken a huge financial toll on my family and me. My continued medical treatment costs $78,000 without accommodation and travel. I have exhausted my family's financial resources over the past year, so I am here pleading for the financial support of generous people. Please support me so my daughter can grow up with a mother and I can be part of her life.

መቅደስ ጌታሁን እባላለው እድሜዬ 28 ሲሆን የአንድ ዓመት ሴት ጨቅላ ህፃን ልጅ እናት ነኝ፡፡ በሙያዬም አዋላጅ እና የጨቅላ ህፃናት ነርስ ነኝ። በደደር ጠቅላላ ሆስፒታል እንድሁም በአሁኑ ሰዓትም በጀጎል ጠቅላላ ሆስፒታል በማገልገል ላይ እገኛለሁ። አሁን ባጋጠመኝ የደም ካንሰር ህመም በጥቁር አንበሳ ስፔሻላይዝድ ሆስፒታል ህክምና ስከታተል ቆይቼ የሀኪሞች ቦርድ በወሰኑት ውሳኔ ወደ ውጪ ሀገር ሄጄ በቱርክ አንካራ Liv Hospital ውስጥ ህክምና ላይ ስሆን፤ ህክምናው የመቅኔ ንቅለ ተከላ(Bone Marrow Transplantation) ስለሆነ ለህክምናው የተጠየቅ ጠቅላላ ወጪ ሰባ ስምንት ሽህ የአሜሪከን ዶላር (78,000 USD) ነው። ይህ በቤተስብ አቅም ስላልተቻለ የወገኖቼን እጅና ደጅ ጠናው። ''ለወገን ደራሽ ወገን ነውና።'' በሀገር ውስጥም ሆነ በውጪ ሀገር ያለቹ ደጋግ ኢትዮጵያውያን ጨቅላ ልጄ የእናቱዋን ፍቅር አግኝታ እንድታድግ ስለ እናት እና ስለ ልጅ ብላቹ ለኔም ለልጆቼም ድረሱልን። በስሜ በተከፈቱት ካታች በተጠቀሱት ባንኮች እና የሂሳብ ቁጥሮች የአቅማችሁን እንድትረዱኝ እማጸናችኋለሁ፡፡
