Get Becca to The London School of Musical Theatre

Hello! I am Rebecca Linden, I am a 20-year-old musical Theatre performer from Newbiggin, a small town in Northumberland. Last year many generous people helped my dreams come true by donating and helping me attend a foundation course at Arts Ed London, one of the top drama schools in the UK. I am so grateful for everyones help, it was the best year of my life; moving down to London and training hard in the thing I love most. The year came to an end and I was searching for my next step, I knew I wanted to train more so I auditioned for different schools. I was successful in my audition at The London School of Musical Theatre, my absolute dream school, to start in September. This course is a year-long and gets you industry ready, in a year I could be auditioning for jobs!

However, a downside to this is the course fees. This course isn't supported by student finance meaning I will not get any funding for the fees of £16,750 or maintenance. I wasn't going to put another go fund me up as I felt as though I asked enough last year but many people have told me to just do it and you never know what might happen. I appreciate everyone's support so much and without everyone I wouldn’t have gotten as far as I have, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This school is the final step towards my dream career, unfortunately, money is my enemy. I want to prove that no matter your background or where you come from you can get your dreams if you work hard enough.
