To all Placer Hillmen, Auburn residents and generally compassionate people of the world, let's help our friend Julie Gregory Gardner class of '82.

She lost her home to a fire on June 27th!

This fundraiser has been created forJulie, her husband Fred Gardner, her mom Carolyn Ellis and their dog Winston by Charlanne Burke and Leslie Konschuh.

They need our help as the house is a total loss and they lost almost everything to either the fire or water damage. Practical things like furniture and appliances, and necessary things medicines and phones, and irreplaceable things like pictures.

As you can imagine, they have been in a state of shock since this happened. Every day brings a new set of challenges and hurdles with all of the logistics and red tape they are encountering. Especially with their insurance company. It’s a nightmare!

It’s going to take a year to rebuild their house and they now have to pay rent as well as the mortgage on their destroyed house. But with help from their awesome friends and community they will persevere!!

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated and will do more than you know to help them rebuild their home and lives!
