Help Melanie Rebuild After a Devastating Fire Ayudemos a Melanie a Recuperarse Tras un Incendio Hi, my name is Marjorie Redrovan, and I’m raising funds for my dear friend Melanie Navarrete, a 15-year-old student at Newtown High School who tragically lost her home in a fire on September 10. Melanie came to the U.S. from Peru, leaving behind her father and much of her family, in search of a better future. At school, she found community through soccer and supportive teachers who became her second family. She’s kind, humble, and always helping her mom. Now it’s our turn to help her.
