Help me see a Brighter Tomorrow

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Michelle, and I am raising money to help fight my health battle. This is my story. In December 1995, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It was manageable until 2003 when my health declined drastically. At this point in my life, at 52 years old, I want to spend time with friends and family and live a productive life, but due to my illnesses, I am restricted from doing that. I am in stage 3 of renal kidney failure and stage 4 of heart failure, which I was diagnosed with in November last year. Doctors are keeping me on a medication called Milrinone to have a better quality of life, but it is not doing any good to me because it is damaging my kidneys. I'm too high of a risk for a transplant because of high antibodies, and I have an unusually small heart. The daily struggles and complications of this disease are debilitating. I struggle with neuropathy, the inability to live an active life, struggling to breathe and being dependent on oxygen. My only hope for a chance at life is to raise money to participate in Stem Cell Therapy. Without Stem Cell Therapy, my life expectancy is limited. I am a fighter, and I will continue to fight. I want to watch my grandson grow up, and I want to be able to enjoy the time I have with friends and family for as long as I can. If you felt led to do so, please consider donating. If you cannot donate, please keep me in your prayers and share my story to help raise awareness of this horrible disease.
