A Local Grandmother Needs Our Help
We’ve met a 77-year-old woman who has lost her home while trying to care for her two autistic grandchildren, ages 13 and 16. Despite everything she’s been through, she gets up every day and works six days a week at a gas station just to survive.
Her story is one of loss, sacrifice, and unimaginable strength — the kind that moves you to tears when you hear it. She’s doing everything she can… but it’s not enough.
This isn’t okay.
No one her age should be carrying this burden alone.
Not while raising two children with special needs.
Not without a proper home.
Not without support.
She’s also caring for three dogs she loves deeply, but she can no longer provide the space or stability they need. We’re are trying to figure this process out .She’s humble, kind, and not one to ask for help.
So we’re asking for her.
It’s going to take a village — but I believe in ours.
Let’s lift her up the way we’d want someone to lift us.
