Life Flight After Rollover Crash -
Brandi's Road to Recovery
One moment I was driving, the next I was being flown by helicopter to the hospital. My car is gone, my body is injured, and I'm facing at least two-possibly multiple-surgeries, months of therapy, and no income. Please help me heal and rebuild.
My Story
On July 31st, my life changed in an instant when a car drifted into my lane, causing me to go off the road, go 15-20 feet airborne and roll my car at least 4 times. The impact was so severe that I had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital. My car was completely totaled, and I sustained 8 broken bones-including a spinal fracture which will require further tests and possible surgery to repair the nerve damage in my neck and arm-as well as a torn rotator cuff.
While I'm incredibly grateful to be alive, the recovery ahead will be long, painful, and expensive. Doctors estimate I'll be out of work for at least the next two months-possibly longer. Unfortunately, I didn’t qualify for FMLA since I had just accepted a new position 3 months earlier, which means I will be without income during this time. The car that drifted into my lane didn’t stop, so this has all been on my insurance, some of which I lost with my job. On top of that, I'm facing mounting medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and basic living expenses.
How You Can Help
Your donations will help cover:
• Medical bills and surgery costs
• Physical and occupational therapy
• Basic living expenses while I'm unable to work
• Transportation to and from appointments
No amount is too small-every dollar makes a difference. If you can't donate, sharing my story is just as powerful.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your prayers, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
