This is one of my best friends, Marcy, and 3 weeks ago she was diagnosed with Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Not one single person who knows Marcy doubts her ability to confront this challenge and give it the hell it most certainly deserves. The road ahead may be a rough one for Marcy, but she has faithfully invested in her community of family and friends her entire life and this moment has provided us the ability to reciprocate some of that love in return. We’re all lucky to know Marcy and experience what a thoughtful, dedicated, fun-loving and honest person she is. To know her, really, is to love her.

Marcy will undergo surgery, followed by chemotherapy, radiation and hormone therapy. We want to help support Marcy in focusing on her health right now, and these donations will help to alleviate any unnecessary stressors that come her way (medical bills, groceries, extended time off from work, etc). Marcy is an awesome mother to her son, Cameron, and fur-baby, Griffin, and we want her energy invested in beating this disease and taking care of her family.
