Byron's Fight Against Melanoma Needs You

Dear friends!

Byron is a rescue dog. Life brought us (Byron and his mom Elena) together in Thailand in 2019.

Byron was an incredible handsome baby boy with a very unique personality. He won my heart very quickly with his cute face, gentle smiles, playfulness, love, also being a good guard.

I couldn't think of leaving him and eventually, in the end of 2019, we departed on our flight and adventurous journey together and arrived to Arizona.

Byron is only a 7-year-young pup now. He has an absolute passion for life, exploring, and hiking.

He is an incredibly smart dog who brought lots of love, smiles, and inspiration to many people around the world through his adventures, journey, and always happy, confident, and curious personality. He has always been a very healthy, athletic, and active boy until recently... when in the very end of May 2025 I noticed a turmor that was hidden between his toes... next day I took him to vet and shockingly he was diagnosed with melanoma cancer that got quite large by the time it was noticed.

As everyone knows, I love him endlessly. These sudden and unexpected news were absolutely heartbreaking.

After crying for a week, visiting vets for assessments and oppinions, doing my own medical research and analysis, and canceling all my summer plans, I have a plan now and I am going to do absolutely everything to fight for Byron's health and survival.

Me and Byron don't have any other support. Byron is my only baby-boy and my only family member here in the USA, also my emotional support dog, hiking/adventure companyon, and my absolutely everything, who I would do absolutely anything for.

Byron went through hard childhood in Thailand and starvation, then 3 long flights to the USA in Dec 2019, and then he has been on many happy adventures here in America.

Please, help Byron to have a chance to fight his cancer and extend his amazing life through being able to receive all the necessary medical treatments he needs very much.

We know, everyone is busy with own lives, own problems and goals. But, every dollar, every little bit of love and care will help us!

The first step for Byron is a surgery for his toe amputation (with a Melanoma tumor), which is scheduled for June 16th.

The total cost of which $2185

Following by 4 melanoma vaccines (Oncept) once in a week ($1000-1500 for Each shot)

Plus chest x-rays, additional post surgery vet visits and screening.

And then, if initial treatment gives good results, 1 vaccine should be repeated every 6 months for his lifetime ($1000-1500 each)
