Professional and award-winning local production team Byron Casting bring High School Musical to Byron Theatre in June 2023.

Byron Casting is passionate about creating memorable performance opportunities for local youth and community. High School Musical is currently in rehearsal with 29 of the region's most talented performers including a diverse cast of 25 local young people.

This Go Fund Me crowd-funding campaign has been created to support Byron Casting to produce a professional production. Funds donated will go to production costs (set build/construction, props, costumes, marketing, sound and lighting, theatre hire, rehearsal space hire, printing and more).

By supporting this production you will also be giving local actors, musicians, and creatives the opportunity to be expertly mentored to do what they love on a high-profile and professional production. Byron Casting collaborates with the best local production team and brings a proven track record of creating and delivering the most professional shows for our audience.

Byron Casting is run by locals Anouska Gammon and Bobbie Field who since 2015 have successfully produced theatre shows across the Byron region.

In 2022 they received 22 nominations at the Gold Palm Theatre Awards for ‘A Property of the Clan’ by Nick Enright and ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ by Roald Dahl, and winning BEST YOUTH PRODUCTION for ‘A Property of the Clan’.
