On Sunday, August 14, 2016, Buddy Byrne suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Katie, Buddy and their three beautiful girls, Karyn, Kelly and Kasey have been active community members in the South Huntington and St. Anthony's schools.
At this time the biggest help that anyone could give would be to assist in easing the financial hardship. Soon the family will be meeting with the funeral home to make arrangements. Donations would be greatly appreciated to assist in burial costs as well as other expenses that may arise. We are hoping to raise enough money to give Katie and the girls the breathing space they need to grieve Buddy's death without the stress of wondering how the bills are going to be paid. Katie is an awesome mom who has always volunteered in our kids' schools and is the first person to jump in and offer help to someone in need. I hope we can all help this family in their time of need. Katie is aware of this campaign and is thankful to be part of such a close-knit, caring and generous community.
