Hi all. My name is Megan, and I am Milo’s mom. We adopted Milo from Arkansas in December of 2019. He was just a little pup. He was found on the streets with injuries to his little tummy. After surgery, he came home to live with us here in Western Massachusetts. He stepped off the transport and had no idea what snow was! It didn’t take long for him to run, roll, hop, and play in it!

Over the years, we’ve battled countless tests, vet visits, medications, and special dietary needs. Milo’s sickness was never diagnosed. They could never give us an answer to why he would get so sick every few months. And not just one vet, but three. He would go through waves of illness that each time we would push through, and then we’d get our happy, silly, playful puppy back. This time was different. 4 days ago Milo stopped eating, not even human food. No cheese, no peanut butter, not even whipped cream! Then he stopped drinking. He got weak and shaky, and my husband and I made the difficult choice to let him suffer no more.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you. I’m just happy to share a little bit of Milo’s story with you. Now, we always have a reserve for our animals (we have two more dogs) but we weren’t prepared enough for this one. Help us bring Milo home. We want to send him to get cremated and would like to bring him home where he can be with his humans. He has two tiny humans who miss him very much. Any tiny donation would be helpful for our family. I’d also like to take a moment to thank Dr. Sidorsky (of Mobile Vet of Western Mass) for coming so promptly to our home to provide these services. I’m thankful Milo was able to pass away surrounded by his family, in the comfort of his home, and on a comfy bed.
