Jake’s Road to Recovery

My name is Kim Adams and I am raising money for my friend Jake Bohnert. Life changed quickly for Jake and his family on Wednesday February 15. He had been having lower back pain which turned into severe brain fog, confusion, and unable to remember things going on around him. After three days of feeling this way, he went to his family doctor to get checked out and passed out. After an ER visit, they were not able to find anything. The next day his family took him to Southeast Hospital where they did multiple test and found a Brain Tumor on his fourth ventricle. He was immediately transferred by ambulance to SLU in St. Louis for surgery and recovery. After a week in the hospital Jake is on the road to recovery but he has a long road ahead of him. He will have continuous doctor appointments and testing in St. Louis.
