Gun violence is tearing apart the lives of our families and communities. Our young people are bearing the burden. This year there has been a nearly 50% increase in youth victims of gun violence. Our interns have been directly impacted and have collaborated to initiate the planning of the Black Youth March for Our Lives.

Resource Fair: 12:30

Closing: 2:30 pm

This will be a youth-led demonstration and resource fair). We are partnering with Philly youth and other incredible youth-serving organizations and leaders to organize the Black Youth March for Their Lives rally and resource fair. We want to connect young people with resources and services that center their needs, uplift, and encourage them. All donations will be used to make this community event possible.

We are a Philadelphia based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization creating safe spaces where people who identify as Black and girl are visible so that their strengths, needs, voices, and stories are centered as they define themselves for themselves, practice living unapologetically and develop the skills needed to become change agents in their own lives and communities.
