As many of you already know, my father, Wayne Krieger, is in need of a Kidney transplant.

When you heard the news, was your reaction, "how can I help"?...Well, that was definitely the reaction of my incredibly loving and brave sister, Yael. 


Amazingly, my sister, Yael Krieger, is a donor match!
 
but...it's not always as simple as that....

...because Yael lives in California and my dad lives in New Jersey. The financial burden of this endeavor is going to add up. In total she will need to make two cross-country trips, and spend nearly four weeks away from her family (husband, 3 year old daughter, and 9 month old son).


Wondering if there is still a way you can help?

The answer is YES! 

I am hoping to raise the appropriate funds that will be used to support the travel, child care, and post-transplant care that my sister Yael will need during this process. Funds will be given directly to Yael or used with Yael's permission to purchase airfare, rental cars, lodging, post-transplant care, child care services, or other necessities that will facilitate her ability to donate her kidney.

My sister Yael is a woman who lives by the value of giving to others. She is a Learning Specialist who works hard to help support and teach students. She believes strongly in tzedakah and giving to those in need. She is a loving and caring mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Please help make the act of donating her kidney a reality.
