Byker Family in memory of Sutton Lee

This fundraiser is here to help the Brice Byker family with medical and funeral expenses. Our community has already blown the Byker family away with the generosity of a meal train filling up in 24 hours through February. "It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the stillborn birth of Sutton Lee Byker. He is absolutely perfect and beautiful. Sutton was born on 11/11/21 at 11:11pm via C-Section after we suddenly discovered there was no longer a heartbeat earlier in the afternoon after not noticing much movement. At 36 weeks, Sutton was 7 lbs. 8 oz. and 20.5 inches long. Our hearts break further as we have not been able to discover a cause of death.

We were 21 days away from his C-Section date and were counting down the days with such excitement for him to meet his big brother & sister. In the last 24 hours there has been anger, confusion, helplessness, and mostly just a deep deep feeling of sorrow.

We were able to introduce Finley & Griffin and explain to them that while we had “the baby that was in mommy’s tummy”, we were only going to be able to see him today because he was going to go stay with Jesus in Heaven and watch over us. Finley was comforted knowing that he will be in Heaven watching over us and keeping us safe.

We are still in shock and disbelief as we type this, but will lean on each other and our faith, family, & friends to get through this. We will cling to our two beautiful babies at home and know that we will forever have a 3rd BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFULLY MADE baby living above us in paradise. "
