While out of town, my rental house caught fire in the middle of the night. Thankfully nobody was hurt and the fire was put out as quickly as possible. However, there is water damage to some of my unit and smoke damage to many of my things, including lots of vintage clothing (to those who don't know, I buy/sell vintage clothes regularly as another small job). At minimum, I'll have to get all of my clothes specially cleaned to get the smoke smell out. I may also need to replace my mattress, bedding, linens, etc. depending on the extent of the damage and get all my electronics checked. I'm moving my things into a storage unit which will also be an added cost. So in short, anything small helps.

For the time being, I am displaced but able to stay with friends/family. I'm hopeful I'll be back on my feet soon. Thank you to anyone reading this ❤️
