I am going to Zambia!

I am going to Zambia on a 2-week mission trip with Overland Missions in August. As a follower of Jesus, I know it is my call to spread His love. We will be going to a village that has never heard the name of Jesus to share His gospel with them. In addition, we have a rare opportunity to minister personally to the village chief and encourage him in his relationship with the Lord. We will also be hosting outreach nights where people from surrounding villages will be able to come and worship. At these events, the people of Zambia get to share their culture and teach us songs and dances in their language. What a joy it will be to worship the Lord as one kingdom under Him!

2 Corinthians 4:1-6 says: “Now, it’s because of God’s mercy that we have been entrusted with the privilege of this new covenant ministry. And we will not quit or faint with weariness. ... We don’t preach ourselves, but rather the Lordship of Jesus Christ, for we are your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded His light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.”

God has been so good to me, and I am completely honored to share His love with the world!
