Chris was diagnosed with breast cancer on March 8th.   Her genetic testing came back positive so she has opted to do a double mastectomy with reconstruction (new boobies!) and just be done with it. 

I'm thankful for the company she works for and their flexibility with all the doctor appointments, and the amazing health insurance she has. The procedure will have her out of commission for 4-6 weeks for recovery. Chris does have short term disability which will help some.

We don’t need a lot but with the added expenses and her being out of work it is going to be tough.
