In November 2024 we received the most devastating news about our 8 years old daughter Asma.

Asma has bone cancer, Ewing's sarcoma, this is a rare, aggressive type of cancer, it is in her hip, pelvis and L5 spine. As in several places she will need stronger chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery (hip joint replacement) and long term physiotherapy.

It was initially incorrectly treated as a bone infection from April to October 2024 when her pain got worse and became unbearable, then a biopsy was done,

We are now undergoing treatment at Oxford John Radcliffe and UCLH London.
