My name is Earl “KK” Britos and I’m the president of the Las Vegas Irish rugby club.   Recently, Bruce Tolley, a founder, player, club member, and dear friend lost his husband Dustin Page to cancer.

For those of you who know Dustin, you know that he was a loyal friend and true supporter of the club.  When he came to games or socials, you could always count on Dustin to be there with his thick Southern drawl, a smile on his face and love in his heart for everyone associated with the Las Vegas Irish.  Dustin was a larger than life personality as anyone who ever saw him around Halloween could attest.  He always had the best costumes.  When you were in Dustin’s presence, you couldn’t help but be buoyed by his infectious personality.  Dustin had a true love for interior design and decorating – a passion he proudly showed off every year when he and Bruce hosted their annual Christmas Party.

Dustin’s passing is a loss the Las Vegas Irish will not easily forget.  The time span between his diagnosis and passing was too quick and Bruce is still reeling from the loss of his soul mate.  During this difficult time, we are asking for any donation – no matter how big or small – to help Bruce with the funeral, medical expenses and day-to-day costs.
