You may scroll through my account and think how strong of a mother I am, how I was able to hold my son through 16 tonic clonic seizures and watch him not breathe for two minutes at a time you think I have it all together the reality is I have to take the day by every second that passes, I use to love sleep,I used to love crawling in bed and feeling safe, it is all gone when the sun goes down, I have fear that my son is about to fall asleep and not wake up, I don’t know what sleep is anymore he sleeps in my room every•single•night every move my son makes every aspirated breath sound I hear I’m waiting for the worst, I hate this disease, I hate that it is taking so much of my sweet boy all the changes he has to go through,the medication he has to take with horrible side effects, the brain is so delicate and intricate, I pray for a cure until then we will continue to fight this monster.. We have taken our son to several different neurologist here in Tulsa & Fort Worth Texas where we will go again in June, I recently went to my Dentist & when I was leaving he asked if I had anything else he could do, I said cure my sons epilepsy & he told me how he has actually helped several people & it can be as simple as your bite being off- Today at 4:00 we met with Dr.Heng Lim,He is a cosmetic Dentist in Owasso, He cured a child Talon’s age in 3 months 3 MONTHS-He believes Talon is having the same issues, we started out with a CT scan today & he believes he can help Talon too, He is setting up a treatment plan that we start March 10th, This is the best news Dusty & I have heard in THREE years. Talon will start out by wearing a angel chin strap with breathe right strips every night, He will go back to Dr Lim March 10th, to do a facial growth study & EMG, this will be the start of everything. I am planning to do a go fund me bc his insurance won’t pay for a lot of it. The lining of Talons jaw is off & basically he is adjusting his jaw, neck & a couple other things that will take time but this could cure my boy so fingers crossed & prayers are very appreciated I wish I could explain it better, I think Dusty & I heard him say he can fix our boy & we basically said we don’t care the cost we will figure it out
