My name is Nadja Cardona, and I am the aunt of Tahia Kamp and grand-aunt of her son, Aurelian Kamp.
In the early morning hours of Monday, November 3, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating house fire in North Haven claimed the lives of both Aurelian and my brother-in-law, John Morris. The home was completely destroyed and has since been condemned. My surviving family members escaped with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.
In the days that followed, a kind member of our community created an initial GoFundMe that provided immediate relief for Tahia. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support, which helped meet her most urgent needs in those first days.
This campaign has been established by our family and close friends as the official ongoing fund for Tahia as she begins the long journey of healing and rebuilding. Your generosity will help her with:
- Basic necessities and stable housing
- Medical and therapeutic care
- Support for rebuilding the future
If you are able, please help us lift her through this painful chapter by contributing to the recovery. Your kindness will help her to take the first steps toward stability, comfort, and eventual restoration.
We are profoundly grateful to every person who has reached out, donated, or shared words of love. Thank you, from the depths of our hearts, for standing with Tahia during this overwhelming time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Nadja Cardona on behalf of Tahia Kamp
Please share far and wide!
