Chairlift for 10yr Old Ethan Duran

Family, friends, neighbors and anyone else who feels so inclined to help in this worthy cause please donate so that the Duran family can have an electric chairlift installed for Ethan in the 2-story home they are moving to in Eagle Mountain at the end of February. We are concerned friends and neighbors who are posting this campaign to help this wonderful family and wonderful boy. Ethan is a sweet 10yr old boy that is severely disabled due to many medical issues that leave him completely dependent on his mother and sister for daily life. He is confined to a wheelchair and cannot sit up, walk, roll, crawl or otherwise move on his own. He cannot control his muscles, he cannot talk, he cannot eat and is fed through a G-J feeding tube. His mother Isabel, "Isa" as friends and family know her, has been a single mother for over 5 years now and does the best she can to take care of Ethan while also working full time as a math and Spanish teacher to provide for the family. Ethan's sister Christine has had to devote her life, now into her young adulthood, putting off school and other ambitions to help take care of Ethan. Recently the family was told they would need to vacate the home they have been renting for 5 years by the end of February because the owner has decided to sell.  With not much time and with a limited budget and low available housing inventory the family has had to secure a 2-story home in Eagle Mountain UT to move into, despite a 1-level home/rambler being a better fit with Ethan's immobile condition. Ethan weighs 70lbs and will continue to get bigger. Carrying him up and down the stairs between the first and second level (where the bedrooms are) will be very risky for both him and for the health of Isa and Christine. Isa already suffers from a bad back from years of lifting and moving Ethan around. As neighbors we have gotten several bids for electric chairlift systems and can have one installed for their family that has a 5-point harness for Ethan and comes with a lifetime warranty so that the family has a worry free, dependable and durable system, for around $4,000. With the administrative fees of the gofundme site to run this campaign we will need to raise about $4,700 and so that is our target. Please join me and the other concerned, neighbors, friends and family of Ethan and his mother Isa and sister Christine in raising these funds to have a chair lift installed between the first and second level of their soon to be new home. Any additional funds raised will be given to the family to help with ongoing care expenses for Ethan. They will be moving at the end of February and so our goal is to have enough funds raised in the next 2 weeks by the end of February to get this lift installed by the time they move in. Anything you could donate would be greatly appreciated. It was not the Duran families idea to run this campaign, it was concerned neighbors and friends, however the Durans have approved of this effort and have expressed how grateful they are, regardless of the success of this campaign, that there are those who care enough about them and their family to help improve their lives in this way.
