In August 2024, Vanessa was diagnosed with Stage 3 Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma.

By December 2024, she had completed six rounds of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, in March 2025, cancer was found in her thyroid (Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, Category 5), which led to the removal of her thyroid.

Vanessa is currently admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she has begun a 30-day stay for a stem cell transplant. While Vanessa focuses on fighting this battle, our focus is on supporting her through this challenging time.
