We are asking for help, James “JOC” O’Connor retired from the armed forces where he served as a Medic.

As a once in a lifetime adventure he embarked on a Mediterranean cruise to celebrate his 60th birthday with his wife Tina. Heartbreakingly JOC suffered a major stroke during the cruise on the 28th February and was airlifted to the nearest emergency department in Sardinia. JOC has spent a number of weeks in hospital in Sardinia but we now need your help to bring him home for further rehabilitation & treatment. The journey will be an arduous one as unfortunately JOC is still in poor health and requires to be accompanied by medical personnel which unfortunately his medical & travel insurance does not fully cover.
