Support Larry's Journey to Independence

I'm Kathleen, the mother of Larry Mullins. Larry is 54 years old and has been disabled since birth. I have taken care of Larry all his life, but now he is currently in the process of moving to his very FIRST apartment! Although it is exciting for both of us, there are a few concerns that would help Larry transition to independent living. He is in need of a new mobility scooter. He currently has a second-hand, 15-year-old scooter that has many mechanical problems. He's trying to save enough to buy his own, but they are quite costly, and the government doesn't fund for mobility scooters. Larry is strongly independent, but would definitely benefit, with a little help from his friends.
