Medical expenses for Ellie

Ellie was born with a porencephalic cyst in the right temporal lobe of her brain- 90% of the right temporal lobe is dead brain tissue and didn’t develop as she was growing in the womb. She was born blind in both eyes from the cyst pressing on her optic nerves while she was growing. Ellie had a MRI done in February that noted two additional cysts in her brain and since then they have been growing. Ellie will be facing more brain surgeries if they grow too large and it could cause more damage to her brain. One of the cysts is sitting on a very important part of her brain, so if her parents don’t catch symptoms in time before her next scan it could be fetal. Jon and Ashley who are two young parents of four children are faced with a financial burden with medical expenses and having to travel to doctor appointments. I am making this post in hopes that people can help in their troubling times. Ellie is a very sweet and amazing child, with great parents. Prayers and anything that will help would be appreciated. Ellie’s parents may have to travel to Maryland to find answers for her because her case is so rare.
