Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at Summerland Secondary School (cash only) during school hours, or at the door (cards accepted).

Nick (Mr. Kast) has been a member of the Summerland community for over 20 years. Here Nick and Susan have raised their 3 children and Nick worked as a wood shop teacher at Summerland Secondary School; and now he needs our help.

As some of you already know, in August 2024, Nick was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that spread to his liver. Since then, his life has been flipped upside down and fighting cancer has become his full-time job. Nick has been doing chemo therapy consistently since the fall to shrink the tumors but will ultimately need a liver transplant.

Nick is unable to work at this time, and while benefits cover some, they do not cover all the costs that come with fighting cancer and treatment. Between appointments with specialists (that cost money…who knew?), medication, and travelling almost daily through the Okanagan for appointments, the costs are adding up.

Please consider donating to alleviate some of the financial stress that has come with this incredibly difficult time for Nick and his family.
