Donation protected
As a friend of Lexie’s, I am hopeful that her family can be showered with love and blessings during this difficult time. Lexie was admitted to the hospital on December 27th with pregnancy complications. While there, she was having daily ultrasounds in order for the doctor to provide the best birth plan for Lexie and baby Jozie. The anxious new mommy surpassed many of the expectations set by her doctors and baby Jozie was delivered via C-section at 30 weeks. Despite being born 10 weeks early, baby Jozie was amazing everyone (especially her mommy and daddy) with her fighting spirit. She was bound to capture the hearts of all who knew her. On the afternoon of February 9th, things took an unexpected turn. Baby Jozie became sick. That evening, Jozie joined her grandfather in Heaven.
All who know Lexie and Billy know that they have kind hearts and giving spirits. During this difficult journey, it is my hope that we can return this favor to them. Lexie was hospitalized for more than 30 days, had numerous ultrasounds, various tests, specialty care and then underwent a major surgery to safely deliver her baby. After arriving, Jozie had a NICU stay lasting over two weeks. Nobody should be burdened with excessive medical bills while going through the grieving process. Please consider donating, sharing and/or lifting this family up in prayer so that we may remove some of the weight that has been placed on their shoulders.
