I’m reaching out to ask for support as I turn the page to embark on the journey of continuing to live authentically—receiving gender-affirming top surgery. I have surgery scheduled for October 2026 in New York City.

The past year and some has been a transformative journey of becoming and being- learning and unlearning myself and the ways I exist in this world. I know in my bones and my heart that top surgery is the right step to being able to live more authentically every day. Top surgery will help reduce dysphoria and aid in helping me move through the world with greater confidence and peace.

Unfortunately, the cost is a major barrier. Even with insurance, between the surgery itself and recovery time, the total expenses add up quickly and I’m not able to cover everything on my own.
