final update:
Hi all, it is with a really heavy heart that we let you know that Oliver was put to rest. We got a call about his blood pressure early in the morning. While they were able to stabilize it, there were other complications arising from surgery with blood clotting and blood cell count.

The mass that they sent in for review came back and it was confirmed that our little boy had metastatic pancreatic cancer. It had spread throughout his body. He was really fighting after surgery but we could tell he was in pain, and would continue to be in pain given the cancer. We made the hard decision to give him some peace.

Thank you all for your support. Our little boy was so full of love, and anybody who met him was so lucky to be blessed by his sweetness. He was, without a doubt, the best cat in this world.

With surgery bills and now burial services, we are still looking for some help. We will be keeping this up for a little longer.

To Oliver:

My sweet nomnom. Mom and Dad love you so unbelievably much. Thank you for giving me the most amazing four years and for fighting so hard for us. There will never, ever be another cat like you.

Until we see you again, chicken butt. ❤️

update 2:
Hi everyone, we got an update that recovery isn't going so smooth. Oliver is having some drops in his blood pressure and with the medicine being administered it is not going up. They are going to move into doing a plasma transfusion for him to try and get that regulated.

Oliver is an absolute trooper and we are still remaining optimistic that he will regulate and be on the fast track to recovery. However, we are still at a stage of uncertainty.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. You got this little buddy. ❤️

Thank you.

update:
First off, thank you all so unbelievably much for your kindness, your donations, and you spreading the word. We are so appreciative of every single one of you and your generosity.

Oliver just finished surgery. He had his gallbladder removed and everything went well. He will be resting and awake hopefully soon. Once gallbladder was removed, doctor could see that the initial mass they thought was on the pancreas was a lymph node that was severely irritated. However, there was still a mass on his pancreas. Since it was at the top they were able to remove it. It will be sent to biopsy to determine if it is cancerous.

Our little boy was an absolute trooper during surgery and hopefully his recovery period is smooth. I will (fingers crossed) update with more good news soon.

Please, if you can, continue to share and keep him in your thoughts during the recovery. Again, thank you thank you thank you. ❤️

Hi everyone,

I am asking for help in raising funds for the surgery of our little baby, Oliver.

I've had Oliver since he was just a little kitten, barely two months old. Oliver is only four now, but he has known nothing but love and cuddles his entire life. I swear that this cat was put on this Earth just to receive pets and curl up next to Mom and Dad. Anyone who has met him knows that he is the sweetest, kindest cat in the world.

We recently took Oliver to the ER and discovered that he had a blocked gallbladder and a mass on his pancreas. He is going into surgery to hopefully remove the mass and the gallbladder. Depending on location of the mass, he may need to have part of the pancreas removed.

We are asking for help in raising funds to pay off his surgery bills. We were lucky enough to be saving for our wedding, which covered a chunk of it, but unfortunately those funds only went so far. Any amount will help, and even if you cannot donate, sharing this post will help out a lot.

Thank you so much everyone and we love you all.
