Hello, my name is Maya and I'm raising money for my dad, Andrew.  
My dad is a hard working Veteran and a self-employed Plumber.  Several weeks back he was injured on a jobsite by a freak accident which took him to the trauma center and into emergency surgery.  
He's unable to walk and won't have a full recovery for possibly another 2 months.  He has lost several jobs and won't be able to bring in his usual income for a while.  Making matters worse, he had reservations for a vacation that cannot be refunded so most of that money has been lost as well.  
He is strong willed and motivated and will eventually be able to return to work however his monthly expenses are very difficult to keep up with.  Although the medical expenses are covered, we are asking for assistance in keeping up with bills until his recovery
