I lost my job in January due to my contract expiring. I was able to get on a new contract, but given our current political climate, it did not get funded. Now, I have a new position/contract lined up, but with all the cutbacks, it is impossible to get a start date. It has been MONTHS.

This was not the way my life was supposed to go. We never envision ourselves going through such hard times. However, things happen, and we have to believe that this will not always be the case. Better days are coming. “This too shall pass.”

It’s been super challenging being a single mom, trying to raise good kids, and being able to provide a healthy and safe environment. But, I am drowning. I need help. I am stuck. It’s not easy for me to ask for help - I’ve always been able to work things out. But I cannot any longer. Things have piled up and I find myself unable to catch my breath nor find relief.
