Support Rory's Fight Against Leukemia

Officiating is a brotherhood. While we may disagree about a play or rule interpretation, we stand as one crew on the court. The SAOA believes it is time for the brotherhood to take care of one of its crew off the court. Ethan Guss, for those who do not know him, is an official in the area and a member of the SAOA. His 3-year-old daughter, Rory, has been courageously battling leukemia this past year. As you can imagine, the family has many expenses not covered by insurance. Rory is currently on some very expensive medications. We would like to help Ethan and his family to offset some of these costs.

We have set-up this GoFundMe page for donations. Some officials have discussed donating a game check to the cause. What we ask from each of each of you is to donate what you can to help one of our own. This fundraising effort will be open until 3/31/25. All money raised will go directly to Ethan and his family in the form of gift cards that might help offset the costs they are experiencing.
