To all family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors of the Colvell family, we would like to continue our shared mission of support. With all of the joy, love and laughter that Carly has given to all of use, let's come together again and give back to ensure our girl has access to the care she needs to continue on her brave journey with ALS.
Carly's ALS is aggressive. Over the last several weeks, Carly has been hospitalized due to the advancement of the disease. In true Colvell fashion, she continues to shine brighter and brighter with unwavering grace, despite the challenges that are thrown in her path. Her next challenge will be the transition back home.
Carly's new medical needs require around-the-clock care by a team of skilled nurses - this need is something immediate and above and beyond what anyone could have planned for. If there is anything we can do to help Carly and her family during this difficult time, it is to ensure she has the very best care she deserves. As a very wise young man once said, "Never give up."
