Junior needs surgery in the US & needs our help

Hello, If you are reading this, you know Junior, he is the epitome of love and compassion.

Unfortunately, Junior has been suffering from an escalating neurological condition resulting from the narrowing of the spinal column impinging on multiple nerve branches and possibly the spinal cord itself - compounded by progressive degenerative changes of surrounding joints, bones and spinal discs.

Doctors in St. Martin have advised Junior that they cannot provide any relief or cure. They have suggested surgery as the only option but the procedure is not available in the Caribbean. His best option is to seek further evaluation & treatment in the US.

Friends of Junior have arranged for him to receive at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York - a comprehensive evaluation by a team of neurologists, radiologists and neurosurgeons. He will then proceed with the recommended treatments (most likely surgical intervention in addition to other less invasive treatments and Physical Therapy).

As you can imagine, this type of work-up & surgery/treatment for an uninsured, non-US citizen is extremely expensive. All proceeds raised through this fundraiser will directly pay these medical bills.

He is anxious to get this behind him, so with his restored health – he can get back to work on the water doing what he loves best – making his friends, the school children and tourists happy.
