Support April's Fight Against Cancer

April was diagnosed with tongue cancer in the fall of 2024 and was cured. However, she now has a spot on her liver which is metastatic squamous cell carcinoma. April has started chemotherapy and immunotherapy and has a very positive and determined outlook to beat this cancer.

However, April and her husband David have depleted their savings after years of trying to conceive a baby through IVF (Baby Hudson was born August 2023!) and then April lost her job while pregnant. April is unable to work at this time and has been approved for Social Security Disability, but her payments will not begin until August.

Many friends, loved ones, and former coworkers have asked what they can do to help. Right now, April and her family need financial support for her out-of-pocket medical expenses including travel to Johns Hopkins for surgery to remove the cancer in her liver and general monthly expenses.
