Stroke of Luck…

It was nearly a year ago July 2024 that I had my 'TIA’ (Transient ischemic attack) also known as a Mini-Stroke.

The luck bit came after receiving surgery to unblock the offending carotid artery, with exemplary after care.

I have made a full recovery, but it could have been very different.

Now that I'm feeling fitter, I am undertaking a sponsored trek up Pen Y Fan in Wales, along with several other people on Saturday 19th July meeting at 8.30am if you would like to Join us.
