Help David walk again!
Nearing the end of June 2020, David was in a terrible car accident in Atlanta, Ga. Upon impact David fractured his pelvis and broke both his legs along with other cuts and bruises. With bilateral femoral fractures the road to recovery and healing, and ultimately walking again, will be challenging mentally, emotionally, and physically.
David is extremely driven, hardworking, and caring. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Social Work and is in the last year of his program. However, due to the global pandemic the college has not yet confirmed what the semester will entail regarding face to face and remote learning this fall. This MSW program has a strenuous full time schedule on its own. As you could imagine, the demands of navigating grad school during this time with the added pressures both internally and externally creates a tough environment.
David worked throughout undergrad studies to graduate in 3 years all the while he has been supporting his mother who suffers from a chronic illness and a bother who has been incarcerated. David has been out of work since the stay at home orders began.
David is resilient, but he cannot do this alone!
Please help us to raise funds to offer financial support and relief towards medical expenses including rehabilitation. David will need several accommodations to support his healing and allow him to successfully achieve his dreams.
Please send healing prayers and loving energy to David and his family. If you are able to donate funds, please know that any amount helps and is wholeheartedly appreciated. You can also help by sharing this with others! Thank you for your unabashed love and kindness.
