Help us finish the new dog shelter in Thailand!
Together with four other Swedish women I run an organisation in Thailand where we try to help as many street dogs as possible. Dog Rescue Thailand is a non profit organization located in Laem Mae Phim in Rayong. Every day we care for 200+ dogs by feeding them (about 100 in our shelter and another 100 on the streets), giving medical care and spay/neuter as many as possible to prevent more unwanted puppies from being born into misery. We have no support from Thai authorities, no big sponsors or money on the bank. We are only able to do this by donations from other animal lovers.
In March we lost the land where we had the old shelter. To be able to build a new one to move our dogs to we have put ourselves in really big debts. It had to be done, otherwise we would not have had anywhere to take the dogs. We have a debt of 250 000 SEK (approx 28000 USD) to the construction company, the veterinarian clinic and the bank. The debts must be paid before July ends and therefor I'm starting this fundraising hoping that as many as possible are willing to support us.
Take a look inside our new shelter. It's a great place and we want to help more dogs now when we have a bigger space. But we can't afford it. Please support our work so that we can pay our debts and continue to help as many dogs as possible to get off the streets and able to find new homes.
