Hi my name is Chris and I'm fundraising for my son Doug. He is going to need help with medical and emergency. I know this is right after Christmas but I also know there are a lot of caring people.

Doug is a 47 yr old single father. He got laid off during the pandemic and never got called back. He was working odd jobs to make ends meet. He finally got an interview and got the job but was waiting to hear back once his drug test and background came back and then this happens.

He was out hunting with his cousin. They were up in the tree when the branch he was on broke, he fell 20 ft and landed on his feet and he buckled. He broke his ankle in 2 places. Also 2 bones in his back. He had to be life flighted to the hospital. They did surgery on him the following day. He has an external stabilizer on his ankle and a back brace on.

He went through 1 surgery on the ankle but has to go through another in 2 weeks. They are not doing surgery on the back, hopefully the brace takes care of that.
