Help a Family Save Their Home

I recently lost my beloved husband of 35 years. I am a widowed mother with 3 children and am in great need of financial help with an emergency bill. I recently learned that my homeowner's insurance will be cancelled unless I get the electrical system updated. Our home has "knob and tube" wiring which is deemed to be unsafe. The insurance will be cancelled next month and we are panicking about what we can do. I don't have any additional savings to help with this bill. It has been estimated to cost $20,000! We are currently working with a new insurance agent and hoping for some help.

I have lived in my home all my life and am raising my three children in my childhood home. We have many cherished memories about our home and family. Our home is beautiful and is a place where we all feel safe.

I lost my beloved husband 5 years ago. He was my best friend and soulmate. We put our heart and soul into our home and family.

I have been under extreme financial hardships/stress. I want to do everything I can to keep our home.
