This is Greg's Fight Song!
Greg is a 3 year old Chihuahua Poodle mix and my best friend! He has lost vision in both of his eyes due to genetic cataracts. My little buddy is now blind because of unethical humans practicing indiscriminate breeding. His 3 favorite things in the world are playing fetch, running as fast as his little legs will carry him and jumping in the car to go wherever I go. He can't see the ball anymore so no more fetch. He's afraid to run because he can't see what's in front of him. He still goes everywhere I go but can longer see out the window so he just crawls up in the corner of the backseat.
Dr Tolar at Blue Pearl Vet Hospital in Louisville saw Greg on 8/3/15. Her diagnosis indicates the vision in his right eye can never be restored.
BUT...she can restore his sight in his left eye! The surgery cost is well beyond my reach.
So...this is Greg's Fight Song!
I'm asking you, my Facebook friends and family to help me help Greg.
The cost of the surgery, pre-op testing and 3 days in Louisville totals $3200.00. I can personally handle the post op trips and meds.
