We are having to move out of state to get our daughter better medical care and the help she needs, this gofund me is to help the cost of her medical bills and other expenses like tube supplies, medicines and everything she needs for a full recovery

Hazels story- 

Hello, This is our daughter Hazel

She was born February 10th 2024, she recently turned 5 Months old.

On the afternoon of May 30th Hazel was found not breathing in her sleep. My husband jumped into action and immediately started CPR while emergency services were on the way. It took a total of 26 minutes of constant CPR to get a heartbeat. She was then transported via life med from our home in big lake Alaska to The Providence Anchorage Alaska hospital where she has spent the last month recovering.

She was placed on a breathing tube immediately and started experiencing small seizures. We weren’t sure what the outcome was going to be,and it’s still unclear what her future will look like, we have heard so many different possibilities of diagnoses and uncertainty of her future. Through everything we have been trusting in the Lord for full 100% recovery through this time of the unknown.

We still have no answers as to what happened to our sweet baby Hazel or what the road ahead will look like, but we trust in God to lead us all through this hard time together as a family.

She is now breathing on her own, awake and alert, she has a G-Tube (feeding tube) place directly into her belly for nutrients. In this time she is going through Nero storming which is a condition where hazels brain is in fight or flight mode and she is having a hard time with battles of constant crying, restlessness , stress, body tension, which results in hazel thinking she’s being hurt when she’s not. She will have to have many different therapy’s and medications to a road of full recovery

This has been the scariest thing we have gone through and hurts us seeing every battle hazel is facing but we know that we serve a merciful God and an almighty healer!

We are creating this Go fund me for support during this time of medical expenses and other expenses that have come out of this scary situation, we are asking for continued prayers over our daughters recovery and donations to support her recovery 

No words can express how grateful we are that Hazel is alive and fighting

We thank Jesus everyday for both our children and continuing to pray for protection over them and us.

We don’t know what tomorrow will bring but trusting in God every day one day at a time
