Hi,
Back in late December, I injured my foot - broke a bone and tore tendons and ligaments. For a few reasons, I didn't get a clear diagnosis until March, and was in a boot and on crutches for most of that time. I stayed in the boot until April.
I wasn't able to work at my primary retail job, but luckily, I was able to keep working at my project archivist job. The archival position came to an end a few weeks before I was cleared by a doctor to return to work at my retail job in April.
Since I've returned, I haven't been able to work full time because of the injury and I'm on work accomodations as I continue to recover and build strength. I'm going to physical therapy and I've noticed a big improvement in a relatively short time. I've been working and have been able to get by. Until Saturday.
On Saturday June 14th, my accomodations request was denied by my workplace which meant that I was taken off the schedule, told that I was being put back on medical leave, and that I had to stop working. This was unexpected to say the least.
I'm doing everything I can to start earning an income again, but I don't know when I'll be able to work. In the meantime, my cat and I need to pay rent, and bills and eat. Unfortunately, I need some help to stay afloat.
Thanks so much for taking a look at this, anything will help and I'm so appreciative.
