Many of you know that Buzz was flown down to Grand Forks last Thursday. He was in the ICU on a ventilator until Wednesday of the next week. He was in complete organ failure until they could find the source of his infection. He is being treated for streptococcal pneumonia currently and has a long road to recovery. When his medical team determines he is well enough to be discharged he will need an intensive rehabilitation program to get his strength and independence back. This could take anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months depending on his baseline when they are able to asses him.
